01 // WHO WE ARE

BrainDump.EXE is operated by Unidentified Tech, a sole trader based in New Zealand. If you have any questions about this policy or your personal data, contact us at unidentifiedtechxpert@gmail.com.

02 // WHAT INFORMATION WE COLLECT

We collect the following information when you use the Service:

• Account information — your email address and display name when you create an account or sign in via Google
• Content you create — notes, tasks, and any text or speech input you add to the app. This content is stored securely in your account and is only accessible by you
• Usage data — how many AI agent requests you make per day, used solely to enforce fair usage limits on the free tier
• Payment information — if you upgrade to Pro or Lifetime, your payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store or have access to your card details. Stripe may retain your email address and payment history in accordance with their own privacy policy
• Device and browser information — basic technical information such as browser type and device type, collected automatically by Firebase when you use the Service

03 // HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

We use your information only to:

• Provide and operate the BrainDump.EXE service
• Sync your notes and tasks across your devices
• Process your payments and manage your subscription tier
• Enforce daily usage limits on the free tier
• Respond to support requests or enquiries you send us
• Improve the Service over time

We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your note or task content for advertising or AI training purposes.

04 // WHERE YOUR DATA IS STORED

Your data is stored using the following third-party services:

• Google Firebase (Firestore) — your notes, tasks, and account profile are stored in Firebase, hosted on Google Cloud infrastructure. Data is stored in the australia-southeast1 (Sydney) region. Firebase encrypts data at rest and in transit
• Cloudflare — AI agent requests are processed through a Cloudflare Worker. Daily usage counters are stored in Cloudflare KV. No note content is logged or retained by Cloudflare beyond the duration of the request
• Stripe — payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe. We do not store card details. Stripe is PCI DSS compliant
• Groq — AI processing of your note content is performed by Groq's API. Note content is sent to Groq only when you click "Run Agent". Groq does not retain your content after processing. If you use your own Groq API key (Lifetime tier), your usage is governed by your own Groq account

05 // YOUR RIGHTS UNDER THE NZ PRIVACY ACT 2020

Under the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020, you have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Correct any personal information that is inaccurate or outdated
• Delete your account and all associated data
• Know how your information is being used

To exercise any of these rights, email us at unidentifiedtechxpert@gmail.com. We will respond within 20 working days as required by the Privacy Act.

06 // DATA RETENTION

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will remove your data from Firebase within 30 days. Payment records held by Stripe are subject to Stripe's own retention policies and applicable financial regulations.

07 // COOKIES

BrainDump.EXE does not use advertising cookies or tracking cookies. Firebase Authentication uses browser local storage to maintain your login session. No third-party advertising networks have access to your data through this Service.

08 // CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

BrainDump.EXE is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

09 // CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. For significant changes, we will notify users via the app or by email.
